（四十五　壬申）　元魏太和十六年。下詔。每四月八日。七月十五日。聽大州一百人為僧尼。中州五十人。下州二十人。著之制令。以為常准○祀孔子於中書省。

(45, renyin [492 CE]) In the sixteenth year of the Taihe era of the Northern Wei, an imperial edict was issued: On every eighth day of the fourth month and fifteenth day of the seventh month, large commanderies were permitted to ordain one hundred monks and nuns, medium commanderies fifty, and small commanderies twenty, establishing this in statutory regulations as a permanent standard. Confucius was worshipped in the Secretariat.
