（戊申）　魏莊帝子攸（獻文之孫。彭城王第三子。是年二月孝明為胡太后鴆之。時爾朱榮立帝即位。二年改元建義。永安二號後復欲篡逆求九錫。九月入朝。帝知召榮手殺之。其弟爾朱兆舉兵向洛。立東海王曄。改元建明。十二月殺子攸。空宮百日。兆又以曄疎遠殺之。而更立孝文之姪廣陵王恭。是為節閔帝）。

(Wushen [528 CE]) Emperor Zhuang of the Wei, [Yuan] Ziyou (the grandson of Emperor Xianwen and the third son of the King of Pengcheng. In the second month of this year, Emperor Xiaoming was poisoned by Empress Dowager Hu. At that time, Erzhu Rong established the emperor to take the throne. In the second year, the reign title was changed to Jianyi, and then to Yong'an. Later, [Rong] wished to usurp the throne and demanded the Nine Bestowals. In the ninth month, when he entered the court, the emperor, aware of it, summoned Rong and killed him with his own hand. Rong's younger brother Erzhu Zhao raised troops and marched toward Luoyang, enthroning Ye, the King of Donghai, and changing the reign title to Jianming. In the twelfth month, he killed Ziyou, leaving the palace empty for a hundred days. Zhao also deemed Ye distantly related and killed him, instead establishing Gong, King of Guangling and nephew of Emperor Xiaowen; this was Emperor Jiemin).
