陽甲弟。商道寖衰。又有河決之害。復遷于亳。臣民怨遷。盤庚作書告諭之。行湯之政。商道復興。在位二十九年　改商曰殷。

Younger brother of Yang Jia. The Way of the Shang gradually declined, and there was also the disaster of the Yellow River breaching, so he moved back to Bo. The officials and people resented the move. Pan Geng composed documents to admonish and instruct them, practicing the governance of Tang. The Way of the Shang revived. He was on the throne for twenty-nine years. (He changed Shang to Yin.)
