宜臼。幽王子。在位五十一年。幽王既被害。酆鄗逼近戎狄。不可居。乃東遷都于洛邑。王室微弱。號令不行。政由方伯。齊楚秦晉漸大。

Yijiu was the son of King You. He was on the throne for fifty-one years. After King You was killed, Feng and Hao were encroached upon closely by the Rong and Di barbarians and could not be inhabited. Therefore, he moved east to establish his capital in Luoyi. The royal house grew weak, and its commands were not followed. Government was driven by the regional hegemons; Qi, Chu, Qin, and Jin gradually grew powerful.
