巳姓。黃帝子。字青陽。王金德。都窮桑（今濟寧路兗州曲阜）。有鳳凰之瑞。因之以鳥紀官。在位八十四年。壽終一百歲。

His surname was Ji. He was the son of the Yellow Emperor, and his style was Qingyang. He reigned through the virtue of Metal. His capital was at Qiongsang (now Qufu, Yanzhou, in the Circuit of Jining). Having the auspicious omen of the phoenix, he accordingly recorded his officers using birds. He was on the throne for eighty-four years, and lived to the age of one hundred.
