帝造禪靈寺供千僧（弘明集）。沙門杯渡。丙寅年九月入滅。葬建康覆舟山。渡初出冀州。闡化四十餘年（高僧傳）。

The Emperor built Chanling Monastery and made offerings to a thousand monks. (Hongming ji) The śramaṇa Beidu entered nirvāṇa in the ninth month of the bingyin year and was buried on Mount Fuzhou in Jiankang. Du originally came out of Ji Province and propagated the teaching for more than forty years. (Gaoseng zhuan)
