周帝奉佛乘親宗族。為先皇造盧舍那織成像二菩薩。各高二丈六尺。造等身檀像一十二軀各二菩薩金剛獅子等。妙麗天成（辯正錄）。

The Zhou emperor revered the Buddha Vehicle and cherished his imperial clan. For the late emperor, he created a woven image of Rocana with two bodhisattvas, each twenty-six feet tall, and carved twelve life-sized sandalwood statues, each accompanied by two bodhisattvas, vajra-warriors, lions, and the like, exquisitely beautiful as if naturally crafted by heaven.
