諱德文。字德文。安帝母弟也。封琅琊王。義熙十四年十二月。宋公劉裕矯遺詔奉王即位。在位二年。禪于宋。壽三十七歲　元熙（二）。

His taboo name was Dewen, and his courtesy name was Dewen. He was the younger maternal brother of Emperor An. He was enfeoffed as King of Langya. In the twelfth month of the fourteenth year of Yixi, Liu Yu, the Duke of Song, forged a testamentary decree to enthrone the King.
