誦。德宗長子。失音不能決事。居深宮施簾帷。獨宦官李忠言昭容牛氏侍左右。百官奏事。自幃中可其奏。在位一年。壽四十六。

Song was the eldest son of Dezong. Having lost his voice, he could not decide state affairs. He resided deep within the palace behind curtains and screens, with only the eunuch Li Zhongyan and Lady Niu of Bright Countenance attending him at his sides. When the civil officials memorialized matters, he approved their memorials from within the curtain. He reigned for one year and lived to the age of forty-six.
