丙戌元和元年春正月上皇崩。十月詔天下有道行僧。赴上都闡揚法化。

In the first year of the Yuanhe era, year bingxu, in the spring, the first month, the Retired Emperor passed away. In the tenth month, an edict summoned monks of virtuous conduct throughout the realm to proceed to the capital to expound and spread the transforming power of the Dharma.
