辛丑長慶元年三月。廬龍節度使劉總舉幽燕二十餘郡歸朝乞為僧。詔賜僧衣號大覺大師。署所居第為報恩寺（唐史）。

In the xinchou year, the first year of Changqing, in the third month, Liu Zong, Military Commissioner of Lulong, surrendered more than twenty commanderies of You and Yan to the court and begged to become a monk. An edict bestowed upon him monastic robes and the title Great Master Dajue, and registered his residence as Ba'en Temple (History of the Tang).
