庚寅咸通十一年十一月帝誕節。召兩街大德僧人入內講道。帝悅賜曇顯等十人紫衣。賜永興軍終南山道宣律師號澄照律師（本傳）。

In the gengyin year, the eleventh year of Xiantong, in the eleventh month on the Emperor's birthday, the bhadanta monks of the Two Streets were summoned into the palace to lecture on the Way. The Emperor was pleased and bestowed purple robes upon Tanxian and ten others. He bestowed upon Vinaya Master Daoxuan of Mount Zhongnan in the Yongxing Army the title Vinaya Master Chengzhao (His Biography).
