甲子天祐元年　春正月朱全忠請帝遷都洛陽。壬戌車駕發長安。甲子至華州。朱全忠屢章促發遂至洛陽。改元天祐。朱全忠遣李振至洛陽。與蔣玄暉等。八月弑帝立輝王為皇太子。柩前即位。時年十三歲。哀帝也　錢鏐加封吳王。

In the jiazi year, the first year of Tianyou: In the spring, in the first month, Zhu Quanzhong requested that the Emperor move the capital to Luoyang. On the renxu day, the imperial carriage departed from Chang'an. On the jiazi day, it arrived in Huazhou. Because Zhu Quanzhong repeatedly submitted memorials urging his departure, he thereupon arrived in Luoyang. The reign era was changed to Tianyou. Zhu Quanzhong dispatched Li Zhen to Luoyang. Together with Jiang Xuanhui and others, in the eighth month he murdered the Emperor and enthroned the Prince of Hui as Crown Prince, who ascended the throne before the imperial coffin at the age of thirteen. This was Emperor Ai. Qian Liu was granted the additional title of King of Wu.
