大遼太宗德光既立晉室。受其所獻之十六州。春正月乃以幽州為南京。改契丹國號大遼。年曰會同。公卿庶官皆倣中國。參用中國人。

Taizong Deguang of the Great Liao, having established the Jin dynasty and received the sixteen prefectures it presented, in spring, the first month, designated Youzhou as Nanjing (Southern Capital). He changed the state title of Qidan to Great Liao, and the reign name to Huitong. The high dignitaries and various officials all modeled themselves on China, and Chinese were employed alongside them.
