四月遼太宗殂。在位二十二年。五月世宗立。諱阮番。名兀欲。東丹王突欲之子。太祖孫也。戊申年改元天祿。天祿四年辛亥秋九月。為燕王述軋等弑於新州之火神淀。在位五年。

In the fourth month, Emperor Taizong of the Liao died, having reigned for twenty-two years. In the fifth month, Shizong was enthroned; his taboo name was Ruan, his tribal name Wuyu. He was the son of Tuyu, Prince of Dongdan, and a grandson of Taizu. In the wushen year, he changed the reign era to Tianlu. In the fourth year of Tianlu, the xinhai year, in the autumn, the ninth month, he was assassinated by Shuzha, Prince of Yan, and others at Huoshendian in Xinzhou, having reigned for five years.
