乙酉垂拱元年。丙戌二年。泉州黃守恭宅園桑樹忽生白蓮華。因捨其宅為寺。今開先寺是也（圖經）。

The *yiyou* year, the first year of Chuigong. The *bingxu* year, the second year. In the garden of Huang Shougong's residence in Quanzhou, mulberry trees suddenly brought forth white lotus blossoms. He thereupon donated his residence to be a monastery, which is present-day Kaixian Monastery (*Tujing*).
