諱頊。英宗子。年二十即位。銳意求治卒于凋弊。在位十八年。壽三十八歲。熙寧（十）元豐（八）大教東被一千年矣。

Personal name Xu. Son of Emperor Yingzong. He ascended the throne at the age of twenty, bent on achieving good governance, but ended in decline. He reigned for eighteen years and lived to thirty-eight years of age. Reign eras: Xining (10), Yuanfeng (8). It had been one thousand years since the Great Teaching spread eastward.
