帝自用兵平列國。前後凡造金銀字佛經數藏。今年勅雕佛經印一藏。計一十三萬版（北山錄外信篇）。

From the time the Emperor mobilized troops to pacify the various states, he had created several canons of gold-lettered and silver-lettered Buddhist scriptures in all. This year, an imperial decree ordered the carving of printing blocks for one canon of Buddhist scriptures, totaling one hundred and thirty thousand printing blocks (Beishan lu, 'Outer Chapter on Faith').
