4.81

太宗第三子。諱恒。二十九歲即位。務從簡易。作文武七條以賜臣僚。轉運知州並帶勸農事。東封泰山。西祀汾陰。以文理太平治二十五年。壽五十四歲。以十二月二日為承天節　咸平（六）景德（四）大中祥符（九）天禧（五）乾興（一）。

The third son of Taizong, his taboo name was Heng. He ascended the throne at the age of twenty-nine, committed to simplicity, and composed seven articles for civil and military officials to bestow upon the courtiers. The fiscal commissioners and prefects were all charged concurrently with promoting agriculture. He performed the Feng sacrifice at Mount Tai in the east and sacrificed at Fenyin in the west. He governed through civil culture and peace for twenty-five years, lived to the age of fifty-four, and made the second day of the twelfth month the Chengtian Festival.
