On the twenty-seventh day of the ninth month, an imperial edict ordered Chengdu Prefecture to produce one canon each of gold-lettered and silver-lettered Buddhist scriptures. An imperial order directed Vice Minister of War Liu Xigu to oversee the work. In winter, in the eleventh month, after the suburban sacrifice was completed, a general amnesty was granted and the reign era was changed.
