In the tenth month in winter, Grand Princess of Yue and Imperial Son-in-law Commandant Zhang Dunli, Commissioner of Military and Surveillance Affairs of the Jeqing Army, built the Fayun Chan Monastery to the south of the capital city. Once completed, an imperial decree ordered Faxiu to be its founding abbot and bestowed the title Chan Master Yuantong (Xudeng zhuan).
