辛巳至元十八年十月。命僧道二家辨析。特奉聖旨云云。除道德經是老子真實經旨。其餘皆後人造作。差官盡行燒毀。

In the eighteenth year, Xinsi (1281), in the tenth month, the Buddhists and Daoists were ordered to debate and analyze. A special imperial edict was issued, stating that except for the Daodejing, which represents the authentic scriptural teachings of Laozi, all the rest were fabrications by later people. Officials were dispatched to burn them all.
