僧來復字見心。豫章人。通儒術工詩文。一時名士皆與之交。與文僧宗泐齊名。上聞召見之。後以賦詩忤上意被刑。有蒲菴集行世。

Monk Laifu had the courtesy name Jianxin and was a native of Yuzhang. He was thoroughly versed in Confucian teachings and skilled in poetry and prose. The prominent scholars of the time all associated with him, and his renown equaled that of the literary monk Zongle. The Emperor, having heard of him, summoned him to an audience. Later, having offended the Emperor's intent through a poem, he was subjected to punishment. He has the *Puan ji* (*Collection from Pu'an*) circulating in the world.
