古溪禪師　名覺澄。號古溪。蔚州人。從天輝昶公出家。閱三乘教典。參無字公案。住南陽香巖寺。後楚山老人。付法為臨濟二十四世之燈。遷天界。善於開導慈隆物類。有藥師科儀三卷。行於世。

Chan Master Guxi, named Juecheng, styled Guxi, was a native of Yuzhou. He left home under Master Tianhuichang. He read the teachings of the Three Vehicles and investigated the gongan of "Wu" (No). He resided at Xiangyan Monastery in Nanyang. Later, the Old Man of Chushan transmitted the Dharma to him as a lamp of the twenty-fourth generation of the Linji lineage. He moved to Tianjie Monastery. He was skilled at instructing and guiding, and his compassion extended abundantly to all living creatures. His Yaoshi keyi in three fascicles circulates in the world.
