紫柏大師　諱僧可。號達觀。吳江人。姓沈氏。少負俠氣。遇虎丘慧輪出家。後往清涼燕京。大竪法幢。後罹誣而終。有紫柏老人集。

Great Master Zibo: His taboo name was Sengke, and his sobriquet was Daguan; a native of Wujiang of the Shen surname. In his youth he possessed chivalrous valour. He encountered Huilun of Huqiu and went forth from the household life. Later he went to Qingliang and Yanjing, erecting the Dharma banner on a grand scale. Afterwards he met with false accusations and died. He had the Collection of the Elder Zibo.
