庚子永樂十八年三月初七日。頒御製經序十三篇。佛菩薩讚跋十二篇。為各經之首　聖朝佛菩薩名稱佛曲作五十卷　佛名經作三十卷　神僧傳作九卷　俱入藏流行。

On the seventh day of the third month of the eighteenth year of Yongle, gengzi, thirteen imperially composed scripture prefaces and twelve encomiums and postscripts for buddhas and bodhisattvas were promulgated to stand at the heads of the respective scriptures. The imperial court's Names and Buddhist Melodies of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas was compiled in fifty fascicles, the Scripture of Buddha Names was compiled in thirty fascicles, and the Biographies of Divine Monks was compiled in nine fascicles; all were admitted into the canon to circulate.
