丙辰正統元年十月。命僧錄司。復照洪武舊制。造僧人周知冊。優免先聖先賢子孫差役。

In the tenth month of the bingchen first year of Zhengtong, the Central Buddhist Registry was ordered to compile comprehensive registers of monks once again in accordance with the old system of the Hongwu era, and to grant exemptions from corvée labor to the descendants of ancient sages and worthies.
