聖道甚難登　智慧果難得
我於此難中　皆悉已能辦
我所得智慧　微妙最第一
眾生諸根鈍　著樂癡所盲
順於生死流　不能返其源
如斯之等類　云何而可度

The noble path is exceedingly difficult to ascend, / The fruit of wisdom is difficult to attain; / Amid these difficulties, / I have now accomplished everything. / The wisdom I have attained / Is subtle, wondrous, and supreme. / Sentient beings' faculties are dull, / Attached to pleasure and blinded by ignorance, / Following the flow of birth and death, / Unable to return to its source. / How could beings such as these / Be ferried across?
