婆羅門法中　奉事火為最
一切眾流中　大海為其最
於諸星宿中　月光為其最
一切光明中　日光為其最
於諸福田中　佛福田為最
若欲求大果　當供佛福田

"Among the teachings of brahmins, / worshipping fire is supreme;
Among all flowing streams, / the great ocean is supreme;
Among all the stars and constellations, / the light of the moon is supreme;
Among all lights, / the light of the sun is supreme;
Among all fields of merit, / the Buddha-field of merit is supreme.
If one wishes to seek great fruit, / one should make offerings to the Buddha-field of merit."
