婆羅門法中　奉事火為最
一切眾流中　大海為其最
於諸星宿中　月光為其最
一切光明中　日光為其最
於諸福田中　佛福田為最
若欲求大果　當供佛福田

In the teachings of the brahmins, serving fire is supreme;
Among all streams, the great ocean is supreme;
Among the constellations, the light of the moon is supreme;
Among all illuminations, the light of the sun is supreme;
Among all fields of merit, the field of merit of the Buddha is supreme;
If one wishes to seek great fruit, one should make offerings to the field of merit of the Buddha.
