案小瞿曇血化。為人乃宿世之事也。至賢劫中當寶如來出世時。瞿曇神識始生此世界為王耳。釋迦越此王號也。竊謂寶如來即是賢劫七佛之一名。但譯胡為寶。故與七佛名異耳。壽五百萬歲。

Sengyou notes: The transformation of the blood of Little Gautama into human beings was an event of past lives. Coming to the Bhadrakalpa, when Ratnatathāgata appeared in the world, the consciousness of Gautama was first born in this world as a king. "Śākyarāja" is this king's title. I humbly consider that Ratnatathāgata is another name for one of the seven Buddhas of the Bhadrakalpa; it is merely that the foreign name was translated as "Ratna" (Treasure), which is why it differs from the names of the seven Buddhas. His lifespan was five million years.
