祐仰惟。錠光授記表號釋迦。玄符冥契故託化釋種。名兆於未形之前。跡孚於既生之後。照灼人天。聯綿曠劫。其為源也邃矣乎。

Sengyou respectfully contemplates: Dīpaṅkara bestowed the prediction, declaring the title Śākya. In dark resonance and unseen tally, he thus entrusted his manifestation to the Śākya clan. The name was portended before physical form emerged, and the traces were verified after birth had already occurred, shining brilliantly upon gods and humans, unbroken across vast kalpas. How profound indeed is its source!
