1.81

瑞應本起云。梵釋下侍。四天王接置金机上。修行本起云。龍王兄弟左雨溫水右雨冷泉。釋梵天衣裹之。五百伏藏一時發出。海行興利一時集至。梵志相師普稱萬歲。即名太子為悉達。漢言財吉。五千青衣各生力士。白馬生駒形色如雪。黃羊生羔。五千玉女皆來侍衛。

The Ruiying benqi jing says: 'Brahmā and Śakra descended to attend upon him; the Four Heavenly Kings received and placed him upon a golden stool.' The Xiuxing benqi jing says: 'The nāga king brothers rained down warm water on the left and cool spring water on the right. Śakra and Brahmā wrapped him in heavenly robes. Five hundred hidden treasures burst forth simultaneously. Merchants traveling by sea to generate wealth gathered at once. Brāhmaṇas and diviners of signs universally proclaimed 'Ten thousand years!' They then named the prince Siddhārtha, which in Chinese means 'fortune and auspiciousness'. Five thousand maidservants each gave birth to champions; a white mare gave birth to a foal shaped and colored like snow; a yellow ewe gave birth to a lamb; five thousand jade-maidens all came to attend and guard him.'
