3.28

祐尋法身無形隨應而現。雖虛影霧曖即是如來。故無量龍鬼宣法天眾。是以經言是諸化佛。皆是真實斯之謂歟。

Sengyou notes: The Dharmakāya has no form, but appears in response [to beings]. Though an empty shadow veiled like mist, it is none other than the Tathāgata. Thus immeasurable dragons and spirits proclaimed the Dharma to the assemblies of gods. Therefore, when the sūtra says that all these transformed Buddhas are real, is this not what it means?
