大論云。天帝取菩薩髮。天上城東立塔。取寶衣立衣塔。此未成佛前者。
The Mahāprajñāpāramitāśāstra says: Śakra took the Bodhisattva's hair and erected a stūpa east of the heavenly city; he took his precious robe and erected a robe stūpa. This occurred before his attainment of Buddhahood.
