第七世祖名大善生。四分律云。懿師摩次第百王。後有王名大善生。有人立此即摩之子也。今以為摩後第九十四世王也。故經云。最後王名大善生。斯為良證。

The seventh ancestral generation was named Mahāsusaṃbhava. The Dharmaguptaka Vinaya says: 'Ikṣvāku was succeeded by one hundred kings, after whom there was a king named Mahāsusaṃbhava.' Some maintain that he was the son of [Ikṣvāku] himself. I hold here that he was the ninety-fourth generation of kings after [Ikṣvāku]. Thus the sūtra says: 'The last king was named Mahāsusaṃbhava.' This serves as excellent evidence.
