1.64

今從初舉數。凡八萬四千二百五十三王。後至於菩薩（初三十三王粟散而已。次十輪種族。八萬四千二百一十。又加宗主十輪數則同矣）。

Now counting from the beginning, there were altogether 84,253 kings down to the Bodhisattva. (The first thirty-three kings were merely petty 'millet-scattered' kings. Next were the lineages of the ten wheel-turners, numbering 84,210. Adding the ten sovereign wheel-turners, the sum is the same.)
