初處兜率天迹　二降閻浮洲迹
三現生靈誕迹　四集藝舉能迹
五出家尋教迹　六乘時成佛迹
七轉法悟物迹　八遷神化掩迹

First, the trace of dwelling in Tuṣita Heaven;
Second, the trace of descending to the continent of Jambūdvīpa;
Third, the trace of manifesting spiritual birth;
Fourth, the trace of assembling arts and displaying abilities;
Fifth, the trace of leaving home to seek the teaching;
Sixth, the trace of seizing the moment to become a Buddha;
Seventh, the trace of turning the wheel of the Dharma to awaken beings;
Eighth, the trace of moving the spirit and concealing his transformation.
