（其八）大業元年二月二十日。土人張子達母俞氏。年登九十患一脚短。凡十八年自悲己老。到墳奉別設齋專至。即覺短脚還申。行步平正宛如少時。此嫗悲喜見人即述。遙禮天台以為常則。

(8) On the twentieth day of the second month of the first year of the Daye era (605 CE), the mother of the local Zhang Zida, whose maiden name was Yu, had reached ninety years of age and had suffered from one short leg for eighteen years. Grieving her old age, she went to the tumulus to bid farewell, offering a vegetarian meal with utmost devotion. Immediately, she felt her short leg lengthen back; she walked evenly and properly, just as in her youth. Overjoyed and weeping, the old woman recounted this to everyone she met, and made it her regular practice to bow toward Tiantai from afar.
