（其十）荊州玉泉寺造石碑。未得鐫刻智者像。至而碑上自然生脈成文曰。天地玄用出生或有磨刮。其辭彌亮一境觀讀三日方失。

(10) When a stone stele was made at Yuquan Temple in Jingzhou, before it could be carved, the portrait of Zhizhe arrived, and veins naturally formed patterns on the stone, reading: “Heaven and earth mysteriously operate to generate and bring forth; some may grind and scrape them, but their words shine all the brighter.” The people of the entire region came to look and read it, and after three days it disappeared.
