有記云，孫皓打試舍利，謂非其權時。余案皓將壞寺，諸臣咸答：「康會感瑞，大皇創寺。」是知初感舍利，必也權時。故數家傳記，咸言孫權感舍利於吳宮，其後更試神驗，或將皓也。

There is a record stating that Sun Hao struck and tested the relic, saying that it was not in Quan's time. In my examination, when Hao was about to destroy the monastery, all the ministers replied: "Kang Senghui moved [the unseen realms] to produce auspicious portents, and the Great Emperor (Sun Quan) founded the monastery." From this we know that the first eliciting of the relic was definitely in Quan's time. Therefore, the biographies of several authors all say that Sun Quan elicited the relic in the Wu palace, and that it was perhaps Hao who later further tested its miraculous efficacy.
