進弟子僧遵，姓趙，高昌人。善《十誦律》，蔬食節行，誦《法華》、《勝鬘》、《金剛波若》，又篤厲門人，常懺悔為業。

Fajin's disciple Sengzun had the secular surname of Zhao and was a native of Gaochang. He was well versed in the Sarvāstivāda-vinaya, observed a vegetarian diet with disciplined conduct, and recited the Lotus Sūtra, the Śrīmālādevī-sūtra, and the Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra. He also earnestly encouraged his disciples, constantly making repentance his primary practice.
