時有靈根釋法明、祇洹釋僧志、益州釋法定，並誦經十餘萬言，蔬苦有至德。
At that time there were also śramaṇa Faming of Linggen Temple, śramaṇa Sengzhi of Jetavana Temple, and śramaṇa Fading of Yizhou, all of whom recited over one hundred thousand words of sūtras, lived on simple vegetarian fare, and possessed the utmost virtue.
