曇摩流支，此云法樂，西域人也。棄家入道，偏以律藏馳名，以弘始七年秋，達自關中。

Dharmaruci, translated here as 'Delight in the Dharma' (Fale), was a man of the Western Regions. He abandoned family life to enter the Path, and was particularly famed for his mastery of the Vinayapiṭaka. In the autumn of the seventh year of Hongshi, he arrived from within the passes.
