梁初有僧伽婆羅者，亦外國學僧，儀貌謹潔，善於談對。至京師，亦止正觀寺，今上甚加禮遇，勅於正觀寺及壽光殿占雲館中，譯出《大育王經》、《解脫道論》等，釋寶唱、袁曇允等筆受。

At the beginning of the Liang, there was Saṃghabhara, also a learned monk from abroad, whose deportment was prudent and immaculate, and who was skilled in conversation. Arriving at the capital, he likewise stayed at Zhengguan Temple. The present Emperor treated him with great courtesy and ordered him to translate at Zhengguan Temple and in the Zhanyun Hall of Shouguang Palace the *Aśokarāja-sūtra*, the *Vimuttimagga*, and other works, with Shi Baochang, Yuan Tanyun, and others transcribing [the translations].
