朱士行，潁川人，志業方直，勸沮不能移其操。少懷遠悟，脫落塵俗，出家已後，專務經典。

Zhu Shixing was a man of Yingchuan. His resolve and conduct were upright and unyielding; encouragement or discouragement could not sway his integrity. In his youth he cherished far-reaching insight, casting off the dust of the mundane world. After going forth from household life, he dedicated himself exclusively to the classical scriptures.
