5.22

時泰山復有支僧敦者，本冀州人，少遊汧隴，長歷荊雍。妙通大乘，兼善數論。著《人物始義論》，亦行於世矣。

At that time on Mount Tai there was also Zhi Sengdun, originally a native of Jizhou. In his youth he traveled through Qian and Long, and in his mature years he went through Jing and Yong. He was wonderfully versed in the Mahāyāna and was also skilled in the Abhidharma. He composed the *Treatise on the Primordial Meaning of Man and Matter*, which also circulated in the world.
