融後還彭城，常講說相續，問道至者千有餘人，依隨門徒數盈三百。性不狎諠，常登樓披翫，慇懃善誘，畢命弘法，後卒於彭城，春秋七十四矣，所著《法華》、《大品》、《金光明》、《十地》、《維摩》等義疏，並行於世矣。

Daorong later returned to Pengcheng, where he lectured continuously. More than a thousand people came to inquire about the Way, and his resident followers numbered over three hundred. By nature he did not take to clamor and often climbed to an upper chamber to read and reflect. Earnestly and skillfully guiding others, he dedicated his entire life to propagating the Dharma. Later he died in Pengcheng at the age of seventy-four. His commentaries on the Saddharmapuṇḍarīka, the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā-prajñāpāramitā, the Suvarṇaprabhāsa, the Daśabhūmika, the Vimalakīrti, and other texts all circulate in the world.
