復有沙門曇度，續為僧主。度本瑯瑘人，善三藏及《春秋》、《莊》、《老》、《易》。宋世祖、太宗並加欽賞。及少帝乖禮，度亦行藏得所，舉動無忤。止于新安寺。同寺又有釋玄運者，亦精通大小乘，張永、張融並升堂問道。

There was also the śramaṇa Tandu, who succeeded him as saṃghapradhāna. Tandu was originally from Langye and was proficient in the Tripiṭaka as well as the *Spring and Autumn Annals*, the *Zhuangzi*, the *Laozi*, and the *Classic of Changes*. Both Emperor Shizu and Emperor Taizong of the Song dynasty deeply admired and appreciated him. When the Young Emperor deviated from propriety, Tandu also kept his actions and retreat fitting, his conduct offending none. He resided at Xin'an Temple. In the same temple was also Shi Xuanyun, who was likewise thoroughly versed in both the Mahāyāna and Hīnayāna; Zhang Yong and Zhang Rong both ascended his hall to inquire about the Way.
