于時湘宮又有法鮮比丘，亦聰哲有思力，與充齊名。充以齊永明中卒，春秋七十有二。注《文殊問菩提經》及注《首楞嚴經》。

At that time, Xianggong Temple also had the monk Faxian, who was likewise intelligent, discerning, and powerful in thought, sharing equal renown with Chong. Chong died in the Yongming era of the Qi dynasty at the age of seventy-two. He annotated the *Mañjuśrīparipṛcchā-bodhi-sūtra* and the *Śūraṅgama-sūtra*.
